About airmaster repair kits
An airmaster (air-over-hydraulic booster) uses air pressure to boost hydraulic brake or clutch pressure on medium commercial vehicles.
When to replace
Spongy brakes, air escaping from the exhaust port or brake fluid at the air side indicate leaking piston seals or a tired diaphragm inside the airmaster.
What's in the kit
Kits include piston cups, seals, O-rings and diaphragms for the hydraulic and air sections of the airmaster units in the range. All 23 airmasters lines are manufactured by Pitchline Engineering in an ISO 9001 environment in Pinetown and supplied from our Pinetown branch across South Africa.

What is an airmaster on a truck?
It is an air-over-hydraulic unit that uses compressed air to multiply hydraulic pressure for the brakes or clutch.
Can an airmaster be rebuilt instead of replaced?
Yes. When the bore is in good condition, a repair kit restoring the seals and diaphragm is the economical fix.
